“Light Rail 30^th Anniversary” Photo Competition

 

To celebrate the 30^th anniversary of Light Rail this September, we are organising a “Light Rail 30^th Anniversary” Photo Competition. Those joining the Competition are encouraged to capture the Light Rail as a feature of the local communities in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai through different angles and presentations.

The Competition includes two categories – the Student Category and Open Category – each with a champion, 1^st runner-up, 2^nd runner-up and three merit awards. The champion of each category will receive an Apple iPad (32GB Wifi), MTR Malls gift vouchers worth HK$2,000, a Light Rail Vehicle model and a certificate. Winning entries will also be displayed on a Light Rail train body or in train compartments.

Safety tips for photo-taking

• Camera flash lighting may directly affect Train Captains’ eyesight. Please avoid using flash lighting in front of Light Rail Vehicles.
• Please do not take photos next to Light Rail tracks, beyond the yellow lines on platforms or in any area that may affect your safety or the safety of others.
• Please ensure Light Rail operations and passengers are not affected when you take photos.
