Free Return Journey and Special Fare for Same Day Return Trip to AsiaWorld-Expo

The same Octopus, Contactless Bank Card* or e-wallet QR Code must be used for entry and exit at Hong Kong, Kowloon or Tsing Yi Station. There should not be more than 9 transaction records on the Octopus during the entry and exit period.

If passengers use the same Octopus, contactless card* or e-wallet QR code to travel to and from AsiaWorld-Expo Station on the same day^ and stay in AsiaWorld-Expo for a minimum of 1 hour between exiting and re-entering the station ticket gate, they can also enjoy the following Special Same Day Return fares^.

Passengers using contactless card* or e-wallet QR code will not be eligible for the free return offer if they use the same payment method for any journey other than the eligible Airport Express return trip during the period between outbound gate and return gate exit.

  • Passengers who fail to meet these requirements will be charged Same Day Return fare.
  • The Octopus or QR Code Single Journey fare will be deducted when you enter the system. Fare rebate will be automatically credited to your Octopus or e-wallet at the end of your return journey.
  • If your boarding and destination stations are different, your total fare will be calculated as the average of the fares for the two journeys.
  • Children under 3 travel free.
  • Passengers holding Elder Octopus, JoyYou Card, Personalized Octopus with “Student Status” or “Persons with Disabilities Status” or using Contactless Bank Card* must pay the adult fare.

^Same day refers to the period of time between the daily start of the first train and the end of service.
