Current Job Openings Senior Engineer - Geotechnical (Ref Code: SE-GEOT) Reporting to the Project Manager, you will lead a team of experienced and qualified engineers in handling independently all geotechnical matters associated with any new railway projects. You will ensure the designs by the consultants are up to the Corporation's standards, liaise with senior officials of BD / GEO on submission issues, manage an independent expert panel consisting of world-renowned experts for reviewing the design methodologies and construction schemes, and prepare standard documents including specifications and design manual. You may be stationed on site to act as the RGE's T5 Supervisor or in the Headquarters to provide ad hoc support to the project teams. You should have a Degree in Civil Engineering, a post-graduate Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a Corporate Membership of a relevant recognised professional institute of Civil / Geotechnical Engineers. Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
Engineer I - Geotechnical (Ref Code: ENGI-GEOT) Reporting to the Senior Engineer ¡V Geotechnical, you will be responsible for managing the deep excavation, foundation, tunneling and instrumentation works for one of the five new railway lines. You will be required to check design deliverables as submitted by the consultants and carry out the RGE's T5 supervision when the construction works commence. You should have a Degree in Civil Engineering, a Corporate Membership of a relevant recognised professional institute of Civil / Geotechnical Engineers and be an RPE(G). You should also have a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in large-scale civil project environment, with hands on experience in design of large-scale geotechnical works. Experience in tunnelling works or deep excavation design will be an advantage. Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
Engineer II - Geotechnical (Ref Code: ENGII-GEOT) Reporting to the Engineer I - Geotechnical, you will be responsible for managing the deep excavation works, foundation works, tunnelling works and instrumentation works for a new railway line. You will check design deliverables submitted by the consultants and carry out T5 supervision on site when the construction works commence. You should have a Degree in Civil Engineering and a Corporate Membership of a relevant recognised professional institute of Civil / Geotechnical Engineers and be an RPE(G) with no less than 4 years' relevant experience. Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
