Current Job Openings Senior Contracts Engineer (Ref: L12012) You will assist in the management and administration of significant-scale contracts covering the civil works construction for Hong Kong new railway projects. You should have experience in general procurement and contracts administration; assessment, management and resolution of claims involving complex technical matters; as well as cost monitoring, control and risk management applications. You should have a Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying or a related discipline and be a Chartered Engineer or Quantity Surveyor in the Civil discipline with at least 12 years' relevant experience. You should possess good interpersonal and communication skills in both verbal and written English with a proven ability to work proactively within a multi-disciplinary and multi-contract environment. Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
Contracts Engineer I (Ref: L12013) You will assist in monitoring and coordinating the contract administration services for civil works design and construction contracts relating to the new extension projects. Good knowledge of and experience in the preparation, invitation, assessment, award and administration of various forms of contract, management of detailed cost control applications and assessment of civil variations and claims are essential. You should have a Degree and be a Chartered Engineer or Quantity Surveyor in civil discipline with at least 8 years' relevant experience. Good interpersonal and communication skills in spoken and written English, the ability to resolve issues to minimise the impact on project progress with regard to cost and programme as well as the willingness and ability to work under pressure are required. You will be stationed on site when the railway projects progress to the construction phase. Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
Contracts Engineer II (Ref: L12014) You will provide contract administration services for civil works design and construction contracts relating to the new extension projects. Good knowledge of and experience in tender preparation, contract administration, detailed cost control applications, resolution of civil claims and finalisation of final accounts are essential. You should have a Degree in Quantity Surveying and be a Chartered Engineer or Quantity Surveyor with at least 4 years' in-depth knowledge of and expertise in contract administration. You should be a self-driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English, strong commitment to the project team as well as the ability to work under pressure. You will be stationed on site when the railway projects progress to the construction phase. Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
