Manager-Project Safety (Ref Code: M-PS)

You will be responsible for the implementation of the Division's Health and Safety Management System to ensure that a high standard of safety is maintained in the offices and on new railway project construction sites. Your role will include the investigation of major accidents and incidents, reviewing contractors' safety standards, conducting high risk method statement audits, organising major incident drills and providing expert advice to senior management on safety and health matters.

You should have a Degree in Safety and Health Management with at least 12 years' construction safety experience in major civil projects, of which 5 years' should be at managerial level. You should be a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent. You should also possess the ability to work independently, excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills, and good command of English.

Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.

Senior Construction Safety Advisor (Ref Code: SCSA)

Reporting to Project Manager, you will oversee the construction of a major civil project and ensure compliance of the contractor works with the Corporation's safety standards and Hong Kong legislation at all times. You will ensure effective communication with the site teams and contractor staff, conduct audits and inspections on the contractors and deliver timely and high-quality reports to senior management.

You should have a Diploma or a Degree in Safety and Health Management with at least 8 years' experience in a large-scale organisation or major civil projects. You should be a Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent, a Hong Kong Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and a Hong Kong Registered Safety Auditor. You should also be able to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal and persuasion skills and good command of English and Chinese.

Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.

Construction Safety Advisor (Ref Code: CSA)

Reporting to Senior Construction Safety Advisor, you will support the implementation of the corporate and divisional safety procedures, as well as provide advice and support to project site staff on construction and occupational safety and health issues. You will monitor the activities of contractors to ensure compliance with the legislative requirements, contract documents and the contractors' work safety system.

You should have a Higher Certificate or Diploma in Safety and Health Management with at least 5 years' construction safety experience in major civil projects, of which 3 years should be at the level equivalent to a Senior Safety Officer. You should be a HK Registered Safety Officer (RSO) and possess a Safety Auditor Certificate. Experience in tunnelling works or E&M system installations will be an advantage.

Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms.
