Cause of Impact

Construction

Groundborne noise impact would arise from TBM from tunneling works.

Operation

Groundborne noise impact would arise from the operating trains on tracks inside the tunnels.

Proposed Remedies

Prediction of construction and operational groundborne noise indicates the criteria will be achieved and mitigation measures are not required.

Results

Results indicate that the predicted impacts are within the statutory requirements and hence mitigation measures are not required.
