Chung Hom Shan Magazine Site

Works Description

To enable a timely delivery of explosives to site and in order to meet the proposed construction work programme, a temporary magazine site will be built at Chung Hom Shan. This is a remote area, located far away from the nearest residential area.

The design, construction and operation of the temporary magazine will comply with the requirements from the Commissioner of Mines.

This website presents a user-friendly summary of the contents of the EIA Report, including the potential impacts due to the project, the recommended mitigation measures and the results of applying these measures. Technical terminologies were rephrased in common-language terms to aid in its understanding. Graphics have also been used where possible to aid understanding, and are not designed to be actual representative examples of conditions on site.
