MTR Corporation Limited (MTR) in Hong Kong invites interested operators to express their interest in either one or both tender(s) for the operation of Duty Free businesses at (i) Hung Hom and Lo Wu Stations; and/or (ii) Lok Ma Chau Station.
MTR is regarded as one of the world's leading railways for safety, reliability and customer service. Hung Hom Station is the hub for the Guangzhou-Kowloon Through Train carrying both business and leisure travelers. Lo Wu Station serves as the primary connection for rail travelers between Mainland China and Hong Kong. Lok Ma Chau Station is a direct immigration control connection with the Longhua Line adjoining Shenzhen Metro’s Futian Port Station.
The prequalification process for the tender will take place in end January 2016. Only qualified operators with the relevant experience and financial capacity will be invited to submit tender, tentatively in April 2016.
